Chemo Cap (Both Flat and Circular Knitting Patterns)
Materials:
EDITED TO ADD: Someone asked how to knit this in the round, so here’s the pattern adapted for circular knitting.
Circular Knit Chemo Cap
Materials:
1 ball of Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran in MC (Teal) and a small amount in CC (Light Blue) for stripes.
US Size 7 and US Size 9 16″ Circular needles. Size 9 DPNs
With MC and size 7 needles, cast on 88 sts. Join in the round. Work in k1 p1 ribbing for about an inch.
Switch to size 9 needles and work in stockinette st for 4 rounds.
Join CC and work 2 rounds in Stockinette sts.
Work 2 rounds of MC
Work 2 rounds of CC
Work 2 rounds of MC
Work 2 rounds of CC. Cut CC.
Work in Stockinette St and MC for 8 more rounds.
Stitch to Double Pointed Needles.
Crown Decreases:
Row 1: *Knit 6, K2tog* to end.
Row 2 (and every odd numbered row): Knit 1 round plain.
Row 3: *Knit 5, K2tog* to end.
Row 5: *Knit 4, K2tog* to end.
Row 7: *Knit 3, K2tog* to end.
Row 9: *Knit 2, K2tog* to end.
Row 11: *Knit 1, K2tog* to end.
Row 13: *K2tog* to end.
Thread yarn needle and draw through remaining sts. Weave in Ends.
