Super Secret Legwarmers
September 21, 2006

These are so comfy, and no one can see them while you wear them because your pants cover them. I know they look kinda dumb, but I love mine. If you live somewhere really cold, you might want to make them a bit longer.
Materials:
-Manos Del Uruguay Varigated Wool, 1 skein (You might need 2 if you want to make them longer.)
-US Size 8 DPNs, set of 4
-1 US Size 10.5 needle (for casting off)
Directions:
-Cast one 36 Stitches onto 3 needles (12 on each).
-Work in 2×1 ribbing (Knit 2, purl 1) for 40 rounds (or more for longer legwarmers).
-Cast off in ribbing, using larger needle.
-Weave in ends, be warm.

These look cool, I’d love to have a go! I have 4 projects on the go at the moment, but I’d like to try these whilst it’s still nippy here!

Love those “baby leg warmers!” Actually, I would WANT them to show, especially if I had sneakers on w/out socks! My 3 daughters would probably love a pair. Hmmmm, Christmas is coming, isn’t it?
Thanks for sharing!
Blessings,
Leslie
