Rock out in cool headgear. Good for keeping the Bangs out of your eyes or showing them off, heehee. These patterns can be knit with any wieght yarn or needles, because you just work until it’s long enough, you can make it any width. Okay:
Headbanger, Knit Version:

Yarn: Cascade 220
Needles: Size 8
Measure around your head where you want the headband to sit, then subtract 2 inches from that measurement to see how long to make your headband (If your head is, say, 20 inches, then you would would make yout headband 18″ long).
CO 14 Stitches
Row 1: Purl
Row 2: K1, *YO, K2tog*, repeat to last stitch, K1
Repeat the last two rows until the headband is the same number of inches as your previous measurement.
Purl one round.
Cast Off, sew seams together. Weave in Ends.
